After much effort, for the first time Hiro jumps back in time ... by one second Hiro Painted: 9th Wonders Issue #14, this panel seen in Episode 2 "Don't Look Back" Event happened: Episode 1 "Genesis"

Ando's cubicle. Hiro excitedly tells his best friend what just happened! Dialog shown in the comic panel is from Episode 1, but this drawing of Ando's cubicle (modified) was also used for the "sake" conversation in Episode 3. Hiro wears a jacket after returning from NYC, however, that he didn't wear inside the office in Episode 1.

We first meet Simone, just before Isaac explains his ability to paint the future to her. After Simone thinks the bus bombing "prediction" wasn't authentic, Isaac shows her this painting that he'd made that morning. This sequence in the original pilot was later cut from Episode 1. The painting shows up without explanation laying around Isaac's studio in Episode 3.

The serigraph Simone carries is an example of some (non-Heroes) artwork that was created by Tim Sales, the artist who really draws the paintings we see in the show as Isaac's.

OOPS! Hiro examines his prize for the first time: a comicbook telling Hiro's own story! We glimpse this drawing (left side sketch) in Episode 3. The COVER of the 9th Wonders comicbook seen in that panel is the promotional art for Hiro (right side sketch), instead of the cover showing "Yatta/I Did It" that was actually shown when Episode 2 aired.

Hiro searches for the comicbook's creator. The centerfold (not seen before Episode 11) shows Hiro asking a comicbook shop owner about Isaac. It was probably drawn as a promotional poster for the pilot's premiere at ComicCon, but never seen acted out. Hiro finally reaches Isaac's address and inside notices a comic panel (in progress) on the work table. A short-cut in the artwork here: the sketch of Hiro looking at the drawing table is a mirror-image of the sketch used to represent Hiro being interrogated by the police, and was also used in the very first panel (above) as Hiro sits at his cubicle in Japan.

Isaac could not foresee his own death (until he was ready to die). In Episode 11 "Fallout," Hiro and Isaac talk together about the comicbook. Hiro reveals that in the future Isaac was dead with his head cut off. The comicbook shows Hiro reacting to the body, the corpse's arm, the "arc" of the open skull spilling blood... but Isaac was unable to put a "face" upon his own death!

Super Genome Symbol (SGS) - A half-helix of DNA. Hiro's trip to the future shows many paintings of this symbol in the studio. Back in the present, we also see it when Isaac awakens following his overdose during the eclipse. A few early appearances of the SGS are seen on Hiro's comic, in the pool by Matt at the Walker murder scene, on the necklace of the Haitian, on Chandra Suresh's book "Activating Evolution" and in the computer screen saver at Mohinder's apartment [enhanced for visibility]. Below, it appears in Peter's doodle. It is later seen on Claire's geometry book, Jessica's (bad Niki's) shoulder, at the Greyhound bus stop where DL catches runaway Micah, and on future-Hiro's Katana. (Recent additions: In Mohinder-the-lizard's tank Ep.12, Formed by glass broken by Sylar next to Sandra Bennet Ep.14, and a "dolphin" ice sculpture in the casino kitchen Ep.15)
